Hi, Joshalin.  I'm sorry for your loss and it's understandable that you are having anxiety attacks.  I know you don't want to take medication, but there are some out there that don't knock you out and you just take them as needed.  A psychiatrist would be a good person to see for that.  For the non-medication route, you could try deep breathing exercises, meditation, yoga or any kind of exercise.  You could also find a therapist to help you deal with it, where you might also get some help with finding strategies that you can do at home that will help you.  I know anxiety attacks are no fun and you're probably impatient to get rid of them, but just go easy on yourself and get some help.

Joshalin, the tiredness and nausea could be after-effects of the anxiety - think about how much energy anxiety takes out of you - but do you think you could also have depression?  That's one reason why seeing a psychologist might be a good idea, or perhaps start with getting a good physical exam from your regular doctor.  I know you're impatient to feel better, but you might have some grieving left to do.  I've experienced both anxiety and depression that have turned out to be buried grief and when I could get that out, in therapy, it was a tremendous relief.

I hope you are soon feeling better and that you'll let me know how you're doing.  Take care!

I'm glad you're going to get it checked out, Joshalin.  I'd be interested in hearing how things turn out for you.
