Q: can scary mask cause seizures

my uncle who is bed bound dementia patient got scared of a horrible mask during last halloween and after that he started having seizures, is it true that his fear and as he scared caused him having seizures (He is bed bound, can't speak but can see and hear and is about 68 years old)

It might have stimulated some latent physiological condition - obviously you don't want to scare him with anything at this point knowing how he reacted - whether or not it was the actual cause of the seizures.  Seizures can be caused by a host of other health issues but they do seem to have "stimulatory situations."  The mask might have been one.
