Q: Is seroquil a sleeping medication or is it perscribed for bipolar?

Seroquel is approved to treat depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Sometimes doctors will prescribe medications "off label" which means they will prescribe for something other than what it has been approved to treat.

Thank you...

Do you have suggestions for help overcoming pretty severe anxiety without using medication?  My 23 year old son is having trouble even filling out asessment tests for a job, training for a position, etc.  He says things like, I just couldn't focus, I'm afraid I'll fill it out wrong, I won't be able to do the job, etc.  This has been escalating over the past couple of years.  Before that he was a high achiever in college, and in football, etc.

There are some natural treatments (such as exercise, cognitive-behavioral therapy) that have been found to be helpful for anxiety. The following link has articles on the many different types of treatment
