While online sites are great information resources, nothing can take the place of your doctor's solid care and advice. I can send you some references to look at. These will help you ask all the right questions of your doctor when you see him/her.
Hopefully you are working with your doctor to come off of the Serax, as this medication like many others has serious side effects if you just stop taking it. You can read more about the Serax here in the drugs database. Your doctor should be able to guide you in the best way to avoid or lessen the affects of withdrawal. There is some information here in the drugs guide about coping with the symptoms of withdrawal from certain medications.
