Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.

I would suggest contacting your doctor to determine if there is a physical cause to your throat concerns.

If there is not, is this caused by anxiety in speaking with the public? Did this just start or have you always had this problem? Do you have voice problems when speaking in relaxed situations, such as at home, or only when you are speaking with the public?

Let me know and I will try to find some additional resources to help.

Thankyou for your comments. I work in an environment that has a swamp cooler and sometimes it is smelly and moldy, and I have a very stressful job, the problem is not from speaking in public, it is just in conversing with people is a sales situation and no I have not always had this problem, it has been just in the last 6 to 8 months. I have spoke to 2 doctors about it and they look briefly in my throat and then say it probably is allergies,  I just want my voice back!!
