Q: what exactly do i have?

I'm 16 years of age.

It all started in the summer of 2008 I expierenced shortness of breath, difficulty of breating, increased heart rate at times, chest pains, and severe headachs. It was so bad i ended up in the hospital because I could no longer take it. They check me out said I was fine. I still expierenced major difficulties with this and decided to go to my normal doctor he said it could be stress. I never really looked into it and for a little i calmed down. Lately ive been rexperencing these symptoms and ive tried to ignore it. Lately though ive been feeling ver light headed and extremly dizzy, but not expierencing my chest pains and breathing problems. What exactly could this be. My dizziness is severe and im not sure what to do. Please help..

The fact that you been been physically checked over and cleared does suggest that you are experiencing some form of anxiety event. The lack of control you are feeling and your symptoms are all indicative of the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. The experience of panic is broadly similar between people but it is possible to have a more modified form.

My suggestion is that you would benefit from some form of psychological intervention. The most common treatment is CBT coupled with relaxation. It is possible to couple this with medication, but you may not need it.

It is possible that these things will help.

I just really want the dizziness to stop. Whatever it takes.

How should I go about all this?

Counciling? Doctors? Im not really sure.

My answer is s suggestion not a diagnosis and no guarantees. You need to be properly assessed. As a psychologist my recommendation is psychological therapy, but others like counseling could work. You can find a psychologist by clicking here.
