Hi Diva
Feeling a tightness in your chest, troubles breathing, and heart palpitations can all be signs of panic attacks.
Eileen Bailey has written an excellent article about heart palpitations related to anxiety and what you can do about it.
Did your doctors assure you that despite the fact that you feel that your heart may stop...that it won't? Did they recommend that you see a mental health practitioner for your anxiety?
I really think a therapist can help with this and perhaps medication could decrease these feelings as well.
I know this is a very real fear for you so maybe now is the time to take care of this and see a therapist.

hi Eileen
thanks for the quick reply. Its just so difficult for me not to think about it constantly.
No my doctor did not tell me that my heart wont stop beating, the thing is I know it wont, but still dont want to believe myself.
The thing is I dont get any tightness, or chest pain, its just that feeling that you going to fall that I get and my heart rate that increases.
I am seeing a physcologist and she put me on Molipaxin, dont know if this is one of the side effects.
Will let you know how things are going, so nice to know i'm not alone.
Have a great day :-
