Q: My boyfriend has anxiety I wanted to know if that is the reason he keeps thinking I am able to easily move on to another guy. He says he feels this way because of our arguing.

It would be impossible to say whether anxiety is the cause of your boyfriend's insecurity with your relationship. Possibly his anxiety disorder makes him feel insecure and unsure of himself, however, many people are insecure without having an anxiety disorder.

 

However, that said, if your boyfriend is still struggling with anxiety issues, it may be time for him to review his treatment with his doctor, if he is currently receiving treatment. If he is not, it may be time to discuss his anxiety with a doctor or therapist. Anxiety is a treatable condition. It is most often treated with a combination of medication and therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy has been found to be as effective, if not more effective, than medication for long-term results.
