Q: I want to wean myself from Citalopram HBR, 20 mg. My doctor said just stop.

I think it is better to wean myself slowly from it.  What do you suggest?

Many doctors do recommend weaning off antidepressants as you can have withdrawal symptoms if you stop these medications suddenly.
