Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

I would not have access to a list of doctors that will prescribe a certain medication. Since everyone reacts differently to medication and sometimes it is a matter of trial and error to find the right medication and the right dosage for an individual, this is a matter that would need to be discussed with your doctor and catered to individual symptoms.

I've been diagnosed with GAD and been prescribed xanex, calonapin, and lorazepam. My grandmother has diazepam and has let me try it and this really is the one medication that works without question. My doctors seem to think the word valium is a four letter word. How do I even start to look for a doctor that will be open to prescribe this to me? Is looking for this drug online a better idea?

I am not sure how you would go about looking for a doctor based on whether he or she would be willing to prescribe a certain medication. I understand this is the medication you feel is best but I am not sure if a doctor would be willing to see you based only on whether he or she will prescribe one medication.

As far as looking on line for the medication, although this is an option, you must be very careful and be sure you are ordering from a reputable pharmacy online. There have been report of problems with strength, dosing or receiving a different medication from pharmacies online that are not reputable.
