I can relate to this issue, while I am not an alcoholic I can speak only from my own experience.  I have taken xanax w/ alcohol too many xanax which ended me in the hospital.   Not a good idea.  Dealing with an addiction to one and adding to it w/ pills can only lead to more problems.  It is my hope that you will seek help for these issues.   I hope this helps and good luck to you.   Dewalt
