My doctor has prescribed Lexapro because I have experienced chest pains and shortness of breath when at work and feeling stressful. My concern is a side effect of the medication can be sucidal thoughts or attempts of sucide which makes me fearful to take Lexapro. I sthere another medication for anxiety attacks with fewer side effects that I may ask my doctor about?
