Dear Susie Slack, When on this type of medication as with many others you should always consult your doctor before reducing, increasing, or quitting any medications. Stopping medicaitions has its own set of side effects. You should be monitored by your doctor if you wish to safely stop the medication. If it is adversly affecting you there are other options you can explore with your doctor. If you are unhappy with your doctor find a new one. It is important to be comfortable and have good communication with your doctor.vlbhopes
