Hi Walt, Thank you for your question. Medications like Xanax and Lexapro are often used in combination together without any problems. However, it's important to know that using these medications together does increase the risk of side effects such as confusion, drowsiness, loss of coordination, and weakness. If you notice that you are experiencing any of these side effects more frequently, you should discuss with your doctor whether another medication regimen would be better for you.
