Thank you for your question. I am not a medical professional, however, even if I was, it would be impossible to say whether repeating your prayers was an early sign of anxiety. Although anxiety is characterized by extreme worrying, I would think it would need to be present in more situations than nightly prayers. Without a thorough and in-person evaluation, it would be difficult to say whether you had anxiety as a child.

It wasn't just nightly prayers. I used to think about it all day and then It would worry me in the day to think that I missed someone. It used to worry me a lot. I wouldn't have been so bothered if it was just as you said 'nightly parayers'.
