I gave up all caffein related foods as well as sugar and my heart palpatations have almost completely gone away. I tried different meds but they made me groggy and unable to do normal activities. Reducing a lot of carbs helps a lot. Also, I have found combining foods properly made a big difference too. If you eat meat or fish, only have vegetables with it no starch. If you want to have starch, you can have vegetables and rice or bread or pasta but no meat or fish with it. Hope this helps.

I don't know if this is the best or not. I was prescribed Metoprolol for palpitations from stress and anxiety. After all my labs came back normal I was put on Propranolol but it tends to cause depression which I was already dealing with.
