Hi Kay,   Klonopin Oral and Sodium Oxybate are taken for two very different conditions. The Sodium Oxybate, also known as GSB is prescribed to treat the effects of Narcolepsy. Klonopin Oral is taken to control seizures. Hopefully, your doctor has prescribed these with care and you are careful to not allow anyone else access to these medications. As far as monitoring, the doctor should be seeing you on a regular basis and should be monitoring all of the medications you are taking. There is a strong warning about interaction between these two medications. You can read that warning here. I hope this information gives you enough to be able to ask all the right questions of your doctor. Remember, online resources are great sources for information, however nothing takes the place of your doctor's sound medical advice and care. Please talk this over with your doctor and let us know how you are doing!Stay in touch!Vicki M
