Q: Wellbutrin and Elavil (Amitriptyline) reactions together?

I am Being treated for Fibromyalgia depression and anxiety (currently taking cymbalta). How ever I am looking to lower my cost and improve my stablity. I would also like to quit smoking after 25 years. I have taken Amitriptyline years ago and I was better then than I am now with taking cymbalta. I before sugesting to my doctor this change I would like to be sure these to drugs could work together.

It would be best to discuss this with either your pharmacist or with your doctor. They would be in a better position to answer this question for you.

 

In addition, your doctor or pharmacist would be able to tell what symptoms to watch out for, in case of drug interaction.
