Q: best medicine for panic help me disordes

i have a 23 year old son in college who has had panic problems most of his life, lack of esteem, feeling of death, tingling, light headedness out of body strange feelings and etc.  we have tried everything zoloft helped a while but he had been on it a long time. i need help my child is in pre med. with a 4.0 average and i dont wont him to suffer anymore his mind would be a loss to us all. please help me

Sammy,

Although many people are helped by medications, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)has been shown to be an effective treatment for panic disorder.  I would suggest you find a CBT therapist in your area by contacting www.adaa.org or www.abct.org
