Hi there

First of all I want to give you the link to our Chronic Pain site where you may want to ask about your fibromyalgia and medication.

Here is our information about Neurontin and also possible side effects.

Here is an answer about this from one of our doctors on the Chronic Pain site.

One consideration is to try an alternative "sister" drug to Neurontin that can cause weight loss. This "sister" drug is called Zonegran. This drug is an anti-convulsant like Neurontin (gabapentin) which can help nerve pain."

Hope this helps some!

Thank you for your question.
