Q: I suffer from severe anxiety & maj depression, the trigger is when I am in a committed relationship

I am currently taking Pristiq and Wellbutrin and I seem to be in another low point, I hit rock bottom in July when I was not on medication and I was prescribed these rx's and I though they were helping - Can you still hit major low points while on these medications - If so, what should I do?  Should I look at other medications?  Can you build an immunity to some medications.....Any direction or advise is much appreciated.

Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

I am not a medical professional and cannot provide you with medical advice.

However, medications do not cure anxiety or depression but can help you manage symptoms. There are additional methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, which, when combined with medication is quite effective in treating anxiety.Exercise, meditation, and yoga can help with symptoms of both anxiety and depression.

That said, if you are experiencing depression and anxiety symptoms again, you should contact your doctor and let him or her know what you are feeling. He or she would be best able to discuss the possibility of other medications.

Anxiety and depression are more common in these moments of anguish and anxiety in the world, often by the ongoing consequences where there is no work and earn so little is not enough to solve economic problems and this leads to people resort to pills like valium, diazepam, xanax, to dispel them their depression, we hope to resolve as soon as possible this situation in all countries these drugs are the most bought and sold grows fast.
