Q: Can i take two xet cr 12.5 mg instead of one xet cr 25 mg?

im already taking it that way. i just want to know if it is safe this way. I have constraint on the money i can spend. i have lots of xet cr 12.5 mg but no xet cr 25 mg. Pharmacy is not ready to exchange it. can i have two xet cr 12.5 mg instead of one xet cr 25 mg.

Hi rosh:

Xet is the generic name for Paxil. You need to ask your physician to answer this, but there should be no reason that you can't take the two 12.5 instead of one 25 mg. It's the same dose and you should be fine.

Again, ask your doctor. He needs to know what you are doing, anyway.
