Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.

It is difficult to start a new job. Everyone gets nervous and feels overwhelmed in the beginning. I am sure as you get used to the job you will feel more confident. As far as co-workers, take some time to get to know them and give them a chance. I am sure things will work out for you in time.

Hi Meg

Can you tell us more about your new job?  What kind of job is it?  What makes you think that nobody likes you?  I might try to focus upon making one new friend...seek out the friendliest face and try to engage them in some conversation.  It may really help to find an ally you can depend upon and ask questions.

Is this type of anxiety new for you or is it just because of this new job?

Let us know more about what is going on and maybe we can give you more detailed advice and suggestions.

Thank you so much for reaching out here.
