Hi Liz:

I have provided a link here that might help you figure out what a Panic Attack really is. If you seem to have what they are talking about, the first thing that anybody will teach you is how to breathe properly.

You can learn more about breathing properly in my SharePost, Breathing Lessons.

After you master this, you should be able to manage your anxiety and stress better, and even conquer panic attacks.

The other option is to find a CD on the Internet that can teach you how to manage your anxiety. There's only one thing that you must remember, however. If you don't practice breathing properly, several times a day and NOT when anxious (in the beginning), then it can't, and won't help.

You can find CD's that my colleague Dr. Jennifer Fee and I produced at The Stress Masters.

Best of luck,

Dr. Diana Walcutt

I am 22 years old, and have had been in a depression in the past and had taken Zoloft.  Today I believe I had a panic attack.  I got very dizy and my heart was racing and had a headache and my neck is soar.  I don't have insurance and just working a part-time job and looking for fulltime.  I think this stress is affecting my health.  I don't know where to go for help.
