I'm concerned about withdrawing from xanax. I've been taking it for about 7 or 8 yr's now, 1 mg 3x's a day. Today i finally saw a Physiatrist for the first time. She gave me Celexa 20mgs for the depression, and told me i needed to stop the xanax and to take Clonezepam for 1 month to help me withdraw from the zanax, 1mg in the morning and 2mgs at night. Now after looking at info on the clonezepam, i see it's addictive also. I'm sure she knows what she talking about, but it this a normal way to withdraw from a drug?
