Hi Angie,   I agree that if you perceive others can read your mind it will make you anxious but it also occurs to me that this is a feature of some other conditions. There is a technical term known as 'thought broadcasting', which refers to what you seem to be suggesting. If it is making you distressed, and if it occurs in many situations, I think you should consider a visit to your doctor and let him or her work with you in order to disentangle what might be going on.
