Q: med question

is the med Imipramine used for anxiety? for a 5 yr old with autism?

Imipramine has been found to be effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety or in reducing the number of panic attacks.

 

As far as for a young child with autism, I am not sure. This you should discuss with your physician.

Thanks for the answer. The Dr did not put him on it instead they put him on Zoloft not to happy about that but will give it about a month.     Thanks again!!

my age is 21.i feel some good when taking propranolo,imipramine,fluoxetine.i feel some improvement of 20% out of 100% in my anxiety.ple
