Q: The symptoms of ocd are repetitive unwanted thoughts and fears

can this include fears of even imaginary figures such as a figure from a childhood dream and this figure is your obsessive thought?

sjavier,

 

any thought  you feel you like to get it out of your head is an obsessive thought.

This thought could be causing you anxiety, depression ...

I'm an ex ocd sufferer and i used to have thousands of obsessions, not a single obsession.

So don't worry and take the medication that your doctor prescribed to you correctly : Don't miss a dose or don't try to take less than your doctor told you. For me, being cured from ocd is only about taking the SSRI medication correctly. No CBT or anything else.
