Hi Amanda,

I'm not sure what you are asking about here, so please write back and clarify for us.  It sounds like you are having anxiety attacks, and perhaps more than in the past?  You can read about the vicious cycle of panic here, and know that anxiety that goes untreated tends to wax and wane in intensity.  In other words, if you don't get treatment for your anxiety, it may go away for awhile, get worse, or return at another time.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is highly effective for treating anxiety.  You can read about abdominal breathing and Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) on this site.  You can find a therapist who specializes in anxiety in your area by searching at the Anxiety Disorders of America (ADAA) website.
