I am 6-7 wks pregnant and was taking 20 mg Lexapro up until about a wk ag. I am experencing brain zaps every few minutes and I want them to stop!! I actually just took my Lexapro to try to settle them down. I know you shld not take while pregnant. How long does this side affect last? I am also experencing other side effects such as lips and mouth tingling and lightheadedness. I do go for my first ob/gyn appt Wed and of course will ask these questions. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Everyone experiencing symptoms of withdrawal differently so it would be impossible to say exactly how long your symptoms will continue. I am glad that you will be speaking with a doctor this week. He or she would be better able to talk to you about what to expect when stopping Lexapro.
