Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.

Feeling nervous when you see someone you like is a normal reaction. Most of us feel that way at some time or another. As we gain confidence in ourselves this feeling lessens and we are more comfortable talking with someone who holds our interest.

Globus hystericus is when you feel like you have a lump in your throat. You are not alone, many people with anxiety have this sensation. According to information posted by Merely Me, some of our members offer suggestions on coping with this, "Indentifying any medications which may be exacerbating the problem, cutting out caffeine, getting a botox injection to relax the throat muscles (check with your doctor on this), having a good cry, sucking on lozenges especially Fishermen's Friends lozenges made with menthol and eucalyptus oil , using relaxation methods such as deep breathing exercises, taking zantac or other acid reflux medications, taking anti-anxiety medications or antidepressants, chewing gum, getting a throat massage, drinking lots of water, acupuncture, and warm compresses on the throat."

I would think your jaw sticking out is another physical reaction to your anxiety. As you work with your doctor and learn ways to manage your anxiety, these physical symptoms should go away or lessen in their intensity.
