Q: Is it alright to take zapiz 25 mg and xet cr 12.5 mg while having common cold or bronchitis?

I think in have some phlem in my lungs which makes it hard to breath once in a while. Is it alright to take zapiz and xet cr while having common cold or brochitis? I have some bad anxiety and attention issues from a long time, but i only recently met a psychiatrist after the anxieties became unbearable. I would like to know what exactly is the difference between zapiz and xet cr? Is xet a sleeping pill cos the doc asked me to take it only before sleep. if it is then i dont want to take it? i dont want to get addicted to any pills. Thank You....

Rosh - Questions like these should always be directed to your physician. Zapiz (Clonazepam) and Xet CR (Paxil CR) are two different pharmacologic approaches to treating anxiety that work on different mechanisms in the brain. Neither is specifically considered a sleeping medication although some people may find that Zapiz makes them sleepy at higher doses. Xet is not known to be addictive but people can become dependent on Zapiz at higher doses if taken for some time. Ask your doctor to tell you more about your medications and make sure that you write down all of your questions so that you get the answers that you need to comfortably take them.
