I have a back problem so I take vicodin as needed. My Doctor said it was ok for me to take the two together. i am scared now because my back is hurting. I have taken vicodin for about 6 months. It really has did wonders for my back. But I do not want to DIE taking medication. I am very cautious. So, she said it was ok but I just wanted a second opinion. The xanex is only 0.5 grams.

Q: I was just prescribed xanex (0.5) grams every 8 hours. My dr said I could take vicodin with this.
