Q: Tried Zoloft/ any reccomendations?

I have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and was on Zoloft for about four months. I had some negative side effects that outweighted the positive sides of Zoloft. Can anyone reccomend another medication I should speak to my Doctor about?

Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give advise on medication or treatment.

I can tell you, however, that different people react differently to medications and therefore there is no "right" medication for anxiety. Often, it is a matter of trial and error to find the right medication for you.

There are many different medications available to treat anxiety. I am providing you with some links for additional information:

Please let me know how it all works out.
