What are some symptoms for post traumatic Stress Disorder?
Our officers are coming back from Iraq and going back on duty (law enforcement) armed and dealing with many difficult situations. I want to be able to be assurred that they will act calmly and properly. Thanks for your time.

Hi Steve:
It is wonderful that your officers are serving, but it is also likely that they have been traumatized. Stats show that 59% are coming home with some form of PTSD, but the severity is dependent on many factors including family history, social support and pre-existing mental illness.
