Q: I must have something else...I was diagnosed with Globus a couple of years ago. It got better or at least manageable for while and has come back with a bang after gall bladder surgery...I can't eat!!

I have a lot of mucus, and always feels like a cotton ball is in my throat. Its better in the morning and I can usually eat something for breakfast, but continues to get worse through the day. I regurgitate my food, and really struggle with soups and creamy foods. Fatigue seems to make it worse.

Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

There are some medical reasons that you can have this type of sensation in your throat. The most common is gastroesophageal reflux disease. The best thing to do is to speak with your doctor. It is best to rule out any physical causes of this and then narrow it down to what might be causing your throat muscles to constrict.

We don't have much information on the site, but there have been several long discussions among our members about this:

Mystery Pains in Throat caused by stress

Knot/lump feeling in throat all the time for 6months

I hope these discussions help.
