Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Central's Anxiety Community.
I do believe that our dreams help us cope with situations in our life, although I am not familiar with what the imagery in our dreams mean. Some people seem to easily remember dreams while others do not, I am not sure why.
Have you kept a log of your dreams? You might want to do so, indicating what is going on in your life and what your level of anxiety is each day. You may be able to see a pattern, for example, are you having the dreams that leave you soaked with sweat during times of high stress?
This may give you an idea of whether these dreams are a result of coping with your anxiety, even while you are sleeping.
