Ashley   Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.   Sometimes anxiety attacks occur at times you are afraid they will happen, your fear triggers an anxiety attack. This fear builds and then you may begin avoiding places that may be triggers. It  is  good that you want to find help now.   I am not saying, however, that what you are experiencing are anxiety attacks. A doctor would be the person to determine if that is what is going on. Therefore, meeting with your doctor would be the first step. Once you do that, if your doctor determines you are having anxiety attacks, he or she would be able to give you options for treatment. There are medications to treat anxiety and many people find cognitive behavioral therapy helps.   Eileen
