I need to come off of ativan before I get addicted and before I run out, I'm affraid of when I run out because of withdraws and I only have 13 left and I take one daily. does anyone have any ideas about the best way to stop ativan?

You really should not stop any medication without first talking with your doctor. He or she may decide to ween you off the medication rather than having you stop all at once.
Either way, it is important to discuss this with your doctor so that he or she would be aware of the cause of any withdrawal symptoms, should they occur.
Please call your doctor before stopping your medication by yourself.
