I have diazepam 5mg that are mine, I was wondering can I give my husband one for his back pain? he feels like he pulled a muscle and has discomfort or should I just give him a motrin.

Hi Brenda,
Probably every professional on a site like this is going to say something like, "People should not share their medications," and "only take medication that has been prescribed to you."
Aside from that, while the diazepam will make him calm, it is not likely to take away his pain (although it can calm muscle spasms).
So, best of all, get him to a doctor who can prescribe the most appropriate drug for his particular issue!

valium is not a pain killer, it may take his mind of it for a little while but it wont help the pain
