Q: Is advair the trigger of my anxiety and if so is there any way to treat this?

Ive been prescribed Advair 250/50 and Pro Air to control my asthma. Just recently ive been told that i suffer from anxiety. Is there a possiblity that the trigger of my anxiety may have came from Advair and my Pro Air asthma pump? I just recently been having these rapid heart beats and their sometimes uncontrolable. But i really wanted to know if this was asthma/anxiety related. Is there any chance that this feeling will ever go away?

Hi Ashley,

Thanks for asking this question. It appears that an fast heartbeat(tachycardia) is one of the side effects of advair. It should be reported to your physician.

This info was gathered from: http://asthma.emedtv.com/advair/advair-side-effects-p2.html

In order to gather more information you might want to contact the makers of Advair and see what they might recomend, you can also speak to a pharmacist. But please do contact your physician about this issue.

Hope this helps you out.
