I'm an adult who recently had surgery, so lots of trauma to my system.  I can't get rid of the "chills."  No fever, only goose bumps.  I'm indoors, have not been exposed to illness, nor am I sick.  I've tried hot tea, soup, hot showers.  Just can't warm up.  Please help with suggestions.

    Hi Rosie0330,

I know you asked this a long time ago, and I wonder if you have a diagnosis and treatment you would like to share?
We are not doctors here, but there are several things that can cause chills without a fever, including a bladder infection, anemia, hypothyroidism and hypoglycemia, a spider bite, or it could be a side effect of a medication.  Your doctor is the only one who can diagnose one of those, so get it checked out if you can, particularly since you're recovering from surgery.
I do hope you are well!

Since you recently  had surgery, I think the chills will go away after some time. I get chills, too, but from my anxiety.
