hi

Ive been on cymbalta over 5 years so when generic available i though great a break on price.  Yes price break but I had a reaction to the generic.  That is the second medication that I've had this reaction

my pharmacist gave me this address for coupons that are taken almost everywhere. internetdrugcoupons.com is address.  Somewhere there is a coupon for free 30 pills, not sure if it still available.  but good site.

Here are 2 cymbalta links I'm aware of, first for a rebate, and other for 1 month free.  They work if you have private insurance.

http://promise.cymbalta.com/voucherhh.cfm?HHpersonID=e64f27d4-6674-4edf-aa17-3a2c2d3c9c5f&indication_id=3852&age=58&hear=3866&CP_ID=

http://promise.cymbalta.com/enrollment_form.cfm?r=367221&v=298981

Also, here are the best 2 sites I use for finding offers for name brands of nearly all drugs.  They usually have copay reduction offers and other offers.

http://www.medicationcoupons.com/

http://www.internetdrugcoupons.com

I hope these links work for you.  Just keep searching online under brand name as well as go to  "medication name".com.  The process takes time, but coupons such as these have saved us at least $1000 every year !!

Please pass along this info to others that may need it.

In order to receive reimbursement for the Cymbalta from the "Promise Program" you must be DISSATISFIED with the treatment. Otherwise there is no help with the cost!!

There is a generic form of cymbalta. It's called Duloxetine. I found it when I was looking for coupons for cymbalta. I will try to find the site again and give you the info. They didn't sell the 60m just 20' 30' and 40'm pills. The cost came out to be 96cents a pill. But take a look on the web about the drug and you'll see that it treats everything that cymbalta dose, from depression to fibromyalgia. Dan Reply

Cymbalta price has increased from $100 for a 3 month supply copay

with insurance card to $187 copay.  I do not understand why.

I have been on Cymbalta for a long time paying the $100 copay

until now.  Why did the price almost double? Can you explain

that to me?

You can get a free 14 day sample by going to: http://voucher.cymbalta.com/thankyou.cfm?k=5&src=&CFID=118912&CFTOKEN=52890757

Additonally, if you're unable to pay for your medication, fit into a specific income bracket, and have zero prescription coverage for any medications at all, then there is a program called Lilly Cares: http://www.lillycares.com/Pages/index.aspx.

Good luck!

I was perscribed cymalta but can not afford the copay of $70.00 each month. Coupons should be readily offered for those who need several  medications. I have been in a wheelchair for 26 years.  How may I get some help for this very over priced drug.  If none is available then I will discontinue or change to doxinpen which is very affordable and has worked as well if not better.  Thanks for asking this question.

Organian ~ did you find any help for Cymbalta or did you go on Duloxetine?  If so, how is this working for you?  As you know, it is now 3/12/12, so it would cost me $160.00 for 30 pills (1/da).  I asked my PCP for a replacement and he gave me Olanzapine/Zyprexa.  I am having so many side affects after a month of taking this.

There are literally hundreds of free cards you can use to get drug discounts on basically any drug, including cymbalta, if you don't have insurance or if your particular med is not covered by your insurance.

They are usually called drug discount cards.  You can find them at newstands, in magazines, in coupon mailers, Sunday papers, etc., but the easy way is to search online for "drug discount cards".  I just did this and the list of cards available is endless.  I used one of these cards once for a drug not covered by insurance and it reduced the $140 pharmacy cash price to $15.

One suggestion:  Keep several or more of these cards with you. If one card doesn't help on a particular med, you will have others that likely will.

Also, they have a copay assistance program that I read about today, based on certain criteria, I believe you would qualify for a much cheaper copay..... just google it. http://www.lillytruassist.com, this is the site. There is an 800 number you can call... Let me know how it goes, good luck and God Bless.Smile

There is help from many programs. One place that has many options is:  http://www.pparx.org/

This is a quote from the above site:

"The Partnership for Prescription Assistance helps qualifying patients without prescription drug coverage get the medicines they need through the program that is right for them. Many will get their medications free or nearly free."

I'm going to try this one myself. My insurance stopped paying for it. My doctor was giving me samples, but the new HMO she is with does not allow them to even carry samples in her office. Really stinks! I may have to try to taper off the Cymbalta, but I've been on it for so many years, that really scares me, the withdrawal & the 'crashing'.

Hope this helps!

I have also been taking Cymbalta for years. My optimum dosage is 3 per day, which is like $25 without insurance .  My insurance only approves one a day, so I can only feel 1/3 as good as I should. After meeting a $6,000 deductible, there is still a $60 copay until I reach $10,000 and then I get the 30 a month at no charge. I have only found the trial 30 offer where your doctor writes a specific RX for a total qty. of 30. You can do the trial 30 free once a year. I also ask the girls in the Dr. office for samples when they have them.  I think the sales reps have really tightened up the past couple of years on samples. Maybe we should start a petition for a Cybalta copay discount card.  It would certainly be helpful to those of us who are loyal customers to help defray the cost.  I have fibromyalgia, herniated discs, two failed back surgeries resulting in lots of scar tissue, and bone spurs on my spine.  The SSRI's like Paxil, Prozac, Zoloft etc. have generics but don't touch the pain which can result in depression. It's hard to be cheerful when you are in constant pain.  I have been treating myself to 2 a day because my husband has been going through some serious health issues and I need to be able to be the "strong, supportive" spouse. Sorry my news wasn't better, but the Trial 30 is actually around a $275 value. I take advantage of it every year. Just go the website and print out the forn, take it and the new RX to the pharmacy. Like most of the RX savings plans, you don't qualify if you are on a govt. sponsored health plan, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, etc.  or if you live in Massachusetts. Also, you need to be over 18. Hope this helps.

This company will help you even if you have private insurance. You have to qualify financially though. The Dr. has to fill out forms and it is delivered to their office every three months. It only costs $20 a month.
