Are there medications for anxiety that are not anti-depressants and that work?

I am having anxiety and panick attacks and I was put on Citalopram.  I had only taken one pill and I felt worse than before.  I had extreme diarea, I was shaky, foggy, and couldn't concentrate.  I have been reading about anti-depressants and they scare me to death.  Is there...
