Christina   Vicki provided a link to a great article that explains anxiety in detail. It should answer your basic question. Once you read this, if you feel you may be exhibiting symptoms of anxiety it would be a good idea to talk with your doctor. Taking a list of symptoms and examples of how you feel they relate to you will help you and your doctor discuss the possibility of you having anxiety.   There are treatments available today that can be very helpful and will help you to do the things you enjoy without suffering from anxiety.   Eileen
