Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com
I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice or suggest a medication for you.
I also answered your question about your son on ADHDCentral.com and suggested creating a notebook for all doctors to write in and ask questions of other doctors as well as monitor your medications and write down a rating of symptoms on a daily basis. I would suggest you keep a notebook for yourself as well.
I am sorry I am not able to give you any additional information.

Hi there
Of these that you mention...which is the worst for you? The thing about treating Bipolar disorder is that you don't want to take anything which will cause you to have a manic episode.
I am going to give you the link to our Bipolar site where you can read up on some of the medications there.
Has your doctor told you that the Celexa is contributing to your RLS? I did find many articles on this and this study showing that Celexa can indeed contribute to symptoms of RLS.
I do not have Bipolar Disorder. But I do have depression, anxiety, Multiple Sclerosis and RLS. I am taking Baclofen for my MS but it also helps with the restless leg syndrome as well. It is rare that I have this now.
I would suggest talking to your doctor and getting an appropriate medication for your Bipolar disorder. What type of bipolar disorder do you have? BP1 or 2? A friend of mine is taking Lamictal in addition to her antidepressant and this combo is working well for her Bipolar disorder....she has more depressive episodes than mania. Ask about which meds may be also used to treat your anxiety without causing RLS symptoms.
My question is...do you have RLS without the Celexa?
There are no easy answers especially if you are dealing with multiple conditions. Read up on the medications and talk to your doctor.
Let us know what you find out. I wish you the best of luck in finding the right combination of meds appropriate for you.
