I was taking 8 pills a day of Apriso- but it stopped working, now Dr wants me to take Remicade

After reading the side effects- I really do not want to take it unless it is my last choice. I feel like I have only been on 3 mesalimines since I was diagnosed and would like to explore other options... any thoughts? thank you!

I recently read a book, The Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness by Elyn R. Saks (Aug 12, 2008).  It is about a very successful woman who had schizophrenia.  It turned out she went to Oxford and Yale Law School, then was a professor at UCLA, all while being schizophrenic.  Very well written, and gives a great insight... Read moreChevron
