Ambien Medication

New type of medicine for the sleepless

Swiss researchers are studying a new sleep medication that may have fewer side effects than options such as Ambien and Halcion. Many sleep medications affect a brain chemical called GABA, which is used for activities other than sleep. This new medication blocks orexin, a compound in the body that helps keep you awake.
