Raptiva pulled from U.S. market

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reporting that the maker of the psoriasis drug Raptiva is pulling the drug from the U.S. market. The FDA said the company is taking the action because of a potential risk of patients developing a rare condition known as progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML).
