Transcendental meditation reduces ADHD symptoms

A new study suggests that transcendental meditation sessions may be an effective and drug-free way to treat ADHD. A study of middle school ADHD students found that twice daily meditation sessions of ten minutes reduced stress and anxiety levels and ADHD symptoms by 50 percent over the course of three months. Teachers at the school reported that they were able to manage the classroom more effectively, and that the study participants appeared less stressed and were able to learn more. Experts say ...
